Hallie’s Hints: Storm Wrap-Up, Nice Sunday!

The line of storms that brought widespread severe weather to our area overnight is now moving east.

What a wild night of weather! Fortunately for us, we now have some time to dry out. Check out some of these rain totals over the past 24 hours!

The National Weather Service did issued this statement last night:
Local Storm Report by NWS EAX: S Polo [Caldwell Co, MO] emergency mngr reports TORNADO at 11:55 PM CDT — report of 15 to 20 inch diameter trees broken off at the base in the hideaway lakes sub-division, located on the east side of highway 13. no tornado confirmed, just possible at this time.

Today will be a MUCH quieter day with skies becoming mostly sunny. It will be humid and warm with highs in the lower to mid 80s.
