We’ll enjoy one more dry before yet another round of “unwelcome” rain moves across the area.  We could really use a full week or more of dry weather after the recent deluge we saw but the pattern remains very active across the country!

So lets begin with Tuesday’s forecast.  Coats will be out first thing in the morning!!  There are certainly no frost or freeze issues but a chill will be in the air.

Tuesday afternoon brings partly cloudy skies and a modest warm up but still a solid 10 to 12 degrees cooler than average.  Afternoon highs will be in the mid 60s.

The Royals game will be dry but cool if going.  First pitch just after 7:00pm and you’ll need a sweatshirt if going to the game.

The first wave of rain to spread into the area arrives after midnight Tuesday night.  An area of low pressure will pass south of the area keeping us in the cool side of the low.  Plus, as rain falls into the cool, dry Canadian air mass it will rain-cool the day in the 50s.  Much of Wednesday’s rain will taper off during the afternoon leaving us just clouds and perhaps a bit of mist late day.
