Hallie’s Hints: More Rain Moving In, Thursday Noon Update

Another day, another round of showers and storms are moving through our area. Just like yesterday, heavy rain remains the primary threat that could lead to flash flooding. This complex of storms is moving southeast at around 20 mph.

FLASH FLOOD WATCHES and WARNINGS are in place for a large portion of our viewing area through the afternoon. Remember to never drive through flooded roadways.

The severe threat today is on the lower side thanks to extensive cloud cover. Where we see more sunshine, storms could strengthen to produce gusty winds and large hail. At this time, that threat appears low. We will have to reevaluate by later on this afternoon/evening if we see clouds begin to thin.
