Teachman’s Take: Another Morning — And More Rain…

A complex of rain and thunder is moving through the metro. The leading edge of this could still produce gusty winds. Localized flooding will once again be a problem this morning. Another inch or two of rainfall is expected for Friday. This complex is expected to move out this morning. There is still an isolated chance for a shower/storm this afternoon. But, it looks like the majority of today’s rain will be during the morning rush. Highs today will be in the upper 70s.

Overnight, partly to mostly cloudy and mild in the upper 60s. The breeze will pick up on Saturday. Right now, it looks like Nebraska and Iowa will be hit harder with storms than us. There is still a chance for a shower or storm to develop both days this weekend – and heavy rain could lead to more localized flooding if a storm develops. Highs will be in the 80s. Storms remain in the forecast for next Monday and Tuesday with highs in the 80s. Some drying next Wednesday and Thursday before rain comes back Friday.
