Teachman’s Take: Hot And Humid, More Storms On The Way…

This evening it will be hot and humid! Temperatures will be near 90 degrees with heat index values between 95 and 100! There is a slight chance for an isolated storm north of 36 Highway that could produce heavy rain, lightning, hail and gusty winds.

Overnight, partly cloudy, warm and breezy. Temperatures will be uncomfortable with the humidity factored in with lows near 70. There is a slight chance for rain and thunder north of the KC metro by dawn.

As for Thursday, temperatures will still be warm and humid. Highs slightly cooler in the upper 80s. By afternoon, scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop. Some storms could produce heavy downpours, lightning, gusty winds and large hail.

The weekend looks unsettled with scattered chances for showers and thunderstorms. Looks like this pattern remains all the way through next Wednesday! Highs will start to cool into the upper 70s by Friday, but warm back into the 80s this weekend.

Take care,
