Hawila’s Heads-Up: Independence Day

It’s hard to ask for better weather for July 4th than this! High temperatures this afternoon will climb into the middle 80s with lots of sunshine and tolerable humidity. Those evening plans of firework viewing and cookouts look excellent as well. Here’s a look at what to expect today and this evening. All area fireworks shows will have flawless weather conditions to contend with.

  1. I am glad KC is having such nice weather, I just wish your station would occasionally give your accurate forecasts for our part of the state. We live near Lake Truman, and Springfield only forecasts for them and south of them. Your station at least shows our area!
