Areas along, and especially north of Interstate 70 have had a soggy Sunday so far. Radar is estimating as much as 3″ or more of rain has fallen in some areas from last night’s and this morning’s rain. The National Weather Service has issued Flash Flood Warnings accordingly for Grundy, Harrison, and Daviess County.
Satellite and radar this morning is lightning up with widespread showers and storms in the northern half of the KCTV5 viewing area. We are not anticipating ALL day rains, but scattered showers and storms will continue into the afternoon along with breaks in the clouds and some dry hours.
Another round of rain is possible and trends will be monitored later this evening and through Monday. More scattered showers and storms could lead to a rainy overnight and rainy Monday morning commute for some.
