Teachman’s Take: A Top “10” Day Of Summer Today!

There will be areas of fog this morning. Temperatures will start on the cool side in the middle 60s! Couldn’t ask for a better start for early August. Once the fog mixes out, sunshine will take over and it will feel great. Highs this afternoon will climb into the middle 80s.

Overnight, a few showers and storms are possible, especially south of I-70. By dawn, most of these storms should be out of the Storm Track 5 viewing area. Sunshine will be back and highs will reach back into the lower 90s by Friday afternoon. Can’t rule out a shower or storm over the weekend. Highs will remain hot in the upper 80s and lower 90s.

Next week, once a chance for early storms departs on Monday, it looks pretty quiet and nice! Highs will be in the middle 80s with lows in the middle 60s.
