Teachman’s Take: End Of Week Unsettled Skies

More clouds than sunshine for this evening. An early isolated shower or storm is possible (before 7 PM). Winds will be breezy from the south at 10 to 15 MPH. There will be a brief window where our area will receive a break from any rain. Some sunshine will return and that will bounce our temps back into the middle 70s. After sunset, a few showers will develop across NE Kansas/NW Missouri. Looks like they will stay brief and light. After midnight, another round of spotty showers and thunderstorms will develop, potentially complicating the Friday morning commute. Lows will be in the upper 60s.

For Friday, scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely any time during the day! Heavy rain could accompany any of these storms along with lightning. Small hail cannot be ruled out with a brief wind gust. Highs will be in the lower 80s. There will be a few leftover showers/storms predawn on Saturday. After the sun returns, highs will stay on the comfy side in the lower 80s. Changes by Sunday with the heat building back. Highs from Sunday through next week will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s.

Take care,

Teach
