Hawila’s Heads-Up: Friday Rain Chances

It’s another day you’ll want to grab that umbrella as you head out the door! Showers and a few rumbles of thunder are scattered about the area this morning. Here’s a look at Satellite and Radar showing the push of rain moving into the area this AM.

Scattered rain is expected to linger through the early afternoon with a break in the action mid-afternoon. After several hours of a break, another round of hit-and-miss showers and storms are possible. This becomes especially important with the Chiefs game at Arrowhead tonight! It looks like your early tailgating plans will be fine, but the closer we get to game time, the better the chance for scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder. This rain should be tame enough to keep the game going, but it certainly is possible the game will have wet hours. Again, the rain is expected to be scattered in nature so we’ll keep our fingers crossed we can dodge it out at Arrowhead this evening!
