Hawila’s Heads-Up: Tornado Tracks From NWS

The National Weather Service has plotted the tracks of the Hillsdale, Kansas and Freeman, MO tornadoes from yesterday. Both tornadoes were pretty strong EF-1s at their peak intensities. The Hillsdale tornado was on the ground for an impressive 9.31 miles and was 100 yards wide. This tornado began around 6:09 PM


The Freeman tornado had a path length of 5.3 miles and was 100 yards wide. It, too, was ranked an EF-1.
