Teachman’s Take: Get Ready For More Blue This Weekend!

Mostly to partly cloudy this morning with spotty showers. Most of the showers will track across NE Kansas and NW Missouri – like they have the last 24 hours. However, a few isolated showers have developed in the metro and shouldn’t last long, dampening the roads. Temps this morning will be in the middle 60s. The storm system responsible for these showers will shift to the southwest and eventually take the showers and clouds with it. I’m expecting partly cloudy skies this afternoon and warm temps in the lower 80s.

Overnight, the sky will clear and temps will be comfortable and cool in the upper 50s. A pleasant weekend is in store with mostly sunny skies Saturday and a few more clouds (especially on the Missouri side) by Sunday. Highs will hover near 80 .

Next week, expect warming temps to the middle 80s Monday through Wednesday. A cold front tracks south by Thursday and will drop our temps toward the end of the work week. We may see some rain by Thursday.

Take care,

Teach
