Hawila’s Heads-Up: From Cold To Storms

What a GORGEOUS weekend it’s been so far! Sunday will be a carbon copy of Saturday, so enjoy! Temperatures overnight will fall into the middle 30s across the area leaving us with a chilly start to Sunday morning. Lots of sunshine throughout the day will quickly bring us back into the upper 50s for high temperatures in the afternoon.

It’ll be a nice and quiet start to the work week with seasonable temperatures. It’s the midweek that has our focus. A very well organized storm system is expected to take shape and eject into the central part of the country this Wednesday. The overall setup would promote the risk for a few strong and severe storms along a strong cold front that will blast through the plains and midwest. At this time, it’s impossible to pinpoint the area MOST at risk, but KC and surrounding areas are certainly included in a zone with the potential for strong storms. The picture will become more clear in the days to come. Keep checking back with the StormTrack5 Weather Team for the latest.
