The severe weather threat across our area has pushed east but we’re still dealing with gusty winds as this large strong storm system moves away from us.

A HIGH WIND WARNING is in place through 6 PM Wednesday for the potential of gusty winds in excess of 50 mph.

-Sedalia Memorial Arpt [Pettis Co, MO] asos reports TSTM WND GST of M54 MPH at 03:44 PM CST
-Kansas City Downtown [Clay Co, MO] asos reports NON-TSTM WND GST of M54 MPH at 03:24 PM CST
-Chillicothe [Livingston Co, MO] asos reports TSTM WND GST of M55 MPH at 02:57 PM CST
-5 S Louisburg [Miami Co, KS] trained spotter reports NON-TSTM WND GST of M52 MPH at 02:13 PM CST

It will remain breezy Thursday and much cooler with afternoon highs in the 50s. Warmer, more seasonal days can be expected as we head into the weekend with sunshine and highs in the lower to mid 60s.
