Suchan Says: Midweek Forecast

It took a full week but we finally saw some sunshine Tuesday before late day clouds, snow flurries and sprinkles pushed across.  The rest of tonight is fairly cloudy with a few more flurries in the area and Wednesday is mostly cloudy but we’re on the cusp of a nice late week forecast finish!

Swirling area of low pressure will push another batch of cloudiness into our skies for much of Wednesday

We’ll start the day Wednesday around 30 degrees and see quite a bit of cloudiness into the afternoon.  There will be a dramatic clearing line with the clouds moving east across Kansas late afternoon.  It’s entirely possible our western counties have a great sunset with partly cloudy skies while eastern counties into central Missouri are stuck with considerable cloudiness.

Temperatures will be cooler in central Missouri where more cloudiness lingers while areas to the west warm into the mid 40s late afternoon.

Fairly cloudy start to Wednesday with a few flurries possible especially in northern Missouri

Mostly cloudy early afternoon. Note the sharp clearing line to the west advancing east

Wednesday evening with rapid clearing underway

Thursday is the day where bright, full sunshine dominates and after a cold start in the 20s, temperatures soar to near 50 in the afternoon.  Friday will climb into the lower to mid 50s with more sunshine.

Temperature trend ahead looking nice. Average high is in the mid 40s
