Suchan Says: Very Nice Pattern

Next seven days will bring very tame December weather to the region as a boat load of milder Pacific air streams across the country while polar or even bitter arctic air remains well removed from the United States.

Here’s the 6 to 10 day temperature outlook from the CPC and there is no argument from me on this!

In this pattern, mornings are chilly in the upper 20s to mid 30s followed by mild afternoons in the 50s for most days.  A typical high temperature cools into the lower 40s by next week.

Other than mostly cloudy skies Sunday with a stray sprinkle or shower, most days bring quite a bit of sunshine as well.

I do expect to see a gradual transition toward more seasonably cold weather 10 – 14 days out as the overall dominant pattern across North America begins to shift.

At any rate, that’s some distance away in the forecast.  Enjoy the nice pattern building in and your upcoming Friday forecast!
