Hallie’s Hints: Bad Hair Day!

The title of this blog post says it all. It’s going to be a bad hair day. Already by 6:00 AM, we’re dealing with gusty southerly winds over 25 mph. This will continue throughout the day. It’s a “throw your hair in a ponytail” kind of day with winds expected to gust well over 35 mph through the afternoon.

The good news is thanks to these gusty southerly winds, temperatures this morning aren’t terribly cold! Enjoy!

We have a warmer than average afternoon in store with highs in the mid 50s.

Clouds continue to stream in from the southwest with drizzle and light rain possible starting late this morning and into the afternoon/evening. A few showers are starting to show up on radar across western Texas and Oklahoma. It’s this energy that will bring our chance of rain today.

By no stretch of the imagination will today be a washout, but throw the umbrella in the back seat of the car if you’ll be out and about, especially this evening. Rain chances increase throughout the day and overnight.

Temperatures will stay above freezing overnight with rain showers pushing east early Monday morning. Cooler air filters in Monday afternoon with highs in the mid 40s. We’ll be back to the 50s by Tuesday.

Have a GREAT Sunday!
