Hallie’s Hints: Don’t Forget the Umbrella Wednesday!

Showers are forming in central Kansas this evening. This energy will be moving towards the Kansas City metro overnight resulting in widespread light showers and even a few thunderstorms.

As you head out the door Wednesday morning, you’ll want the umbrella and heavy coat. Temperatures will be tumbling through the afternoon thanks to a cold front.

Showers and thunderstorms will be likely Wednesday morning.

By lunch time, the heaviest rain will push north with just a few scattered showers remaining for us.

As you head home from work, the rain threat will have ended leaving us clearing skies and chilly temperatures.

Overall, rainfall amounts will be on the light side with most locations picking up less than .25” of rain by Thursday morning.

If you’ll be traveling for Christmas, the forecast is still looking pretty nice!
