Suchan Says: 7:25pm Storm Update

Winter Storm moving away from the area

The storm is rapidly moving into the Great Lakes and Upper Midwest this evening taking the last of the snow with it.  Essentially we can put this storm in the books and it brought the entire menu of precipitation choices!

Here are some snow/sleet reports I’ve cobbled together.  I hope to publish a long list of totals later this evening.

For the remainder of this evening into tonight, refreeze conditions are ideal.  Bridges and overpasses along with slushy areas on roads will quickly ice up.  A number of spin outs have been reported on our bridges in the area.

Side streets and back roads are covered and slick.  Be careful if out tonight and tomorrow morning.

Better conditions are expected during the daylight hours Tuesday despite mostly cloudy skies and cold temperatures in the mid to upper 20s.
