Suchan Says: Weekend Forecast

The first weekend of 2016 is upon us.  I’m still trying to figure out where 2015 went!  Is it just me or did it fly by or what?!

Saturday is going to be my choice for the two weekend days.  Wall to wall sunshine and mild afternoon temperatures will get my vote!  We’ll start pretty cold in the teens to lower 20s then warm nicely into the lower to even mid 40s.  Some areas may stay in the upper 30s where there is more snow on the ground.

Saturday’s forecast

Sunday is a decent day but it now appears a push of cold air from our north will arrive a bit sooner.  A north breeze develops and a few fair weather clouds are possible mixing with our sunshine.  Highs will likely hold in the 30s across the area.

Sunday’s Forecast

Monday is the coldest day of the next seven ahead.  It’s a brief shot of cold air as the area of high pressure quickly moves toward the east by Tuesday.  Patchy clouds with some sun and a chilly northeast breeze will keep us in the 20s and lower 30s.
