Suchan Says: Rain This Week, Arctic Cold Ahead

Tuesday will likely go in the books as the nicest day of the week as we’ll enjoy a decent amount of sunshine mixed in with occasional clouds.  Temperatures will be warmer in the upper 30s to mid 40s across the area.

Wednesday brings  a fair amount of cloudiness with a slight chance of an early wintry mix followed by afternoon sprinkles or a rain shower.  Whatever falls Wednesday will be very light in nature.  Temperatures are likely to hold near 40 in the afternoon.

Thursday is in the lower to mid 40s with a solid 70% chance of patchy rain.  A general .25″ to .50″ of rain is possible Thursday into Friday.

As colder air rushes in Friday night, rain showers left in the area could mix then change to a period of snow showers before tapering to flurries Saturday.  It’s too early to say on any potential accumulation… if at all.

Arctic cold is ready to surge in over the weekend and linger into a chunk of next week.
