Teachman’s Take: Wednesday AM Wintry Mix

Cloudy this morning with a light wintry mix likely.  Temperatures are hovering near the freezing point.  Most roads should be wet, but the difference between a valley and a hill could change drastically by a few degrees.  Keep an eye out and watch out for slick spots through 9 AM.  Later this morning and into this afternoon, we will transition over to drizzle and light rain showers.  Roads will be wet.  Temperatures today will stay in the upper 30s this afternoon.

Overnight, another wave of moisture arrives.  This one will be in the form of all rain.  It will be slow for the Thursday morning commute because of this.  Temperatures will stay on the warmer side in the middle 40s through the afternoon.

More rain showers possible for Friday with another day expected in the 40s.  The back side of this system is still showing signs of producing snow going into Saturday.  Light accumulations are possible heading into the weekend with a big blast of Arctic air afterwards.  Highs this weekend will be in the 20s with lows in the single digits!

Take care,

Teach
