Suchan Says: Warm Saturday with Low Rain Chance

For a third straight day, temperatures are ready to warm above the 70-degree mark!  Last time we saw 3-straight days of 70+ weather, November 1st – 3rd of last year.

Saturday will have a decent amount of sunshine.  I do expect to see skies turn partly cloudy in our southern zones as moisture increases into the southern tier of our viewing region.  It still appears this same area will have the best chance for a couple of pop up showers or even a thunderstorm.

If we do see a thunderstorm in our southeastern counties from the KC metro, I do not expect severe storms.  Saturday night will see a cluster of showers and storms in central Missouri heading east toward St. Louis.

Temperatures Saturday will reach the lower to mid 70s for most areas.  A pocket of upper 60s to near 70 is likely southeast from Kansas City where there’s a slightly better chance at a shower or storm and a few more late afternoon clouds.

Early Afternoon… warm sunshine with a few more clouds down south.

Saturday Early Evening… a couple showers or a T-storm southeast from Kansas City metro

Late Evening… mainly dry

Sunday looks like another nice day, just a little cooler.  Highs in the upper 50s in the metro with some lower 60s south of Kansas City.  Breezes will kick up from the northwest.

Next week will trend closer to normal with high temperatures and more typical cold mornings too.
