Suchan Says: St. Patrick’s Day Forecast

The day may start a bit chilly with even a touch of frost in the area but a nice afternoon is ahead for all your big plans.  If that includes the parade, you might start with a light jacket getting out to your favorite parade route spot but it will be a light sweatshirt by the end of the parade as temperatures climb through the 50s!

Friday will bring in some cloudiness and a scattering of rain showers appears likely especially across the southern half of the area.  Temperatures will be quite a bit cooler as well in the upper 40s.

Saturday could start below freezing if we have enough breaks in the clouds Friday night followed by mostly cloudy skies Saturday with isolated rain showers possible.  Highs Saturday in the mid to upper 40s.

Sunday morning should start in the upper 20s with a freeze across the area.  Temperatures in the afternoon will warm into the upper 40s to lower 50s with partly sunny skies.

*** Don’t forget, Tornado Drill originally set for Tuesday but was postponed because of weather conditions will occur Thursday.
