Suchan Says: Some Saturday Rain

Satellite

Rain and thunder move through now. Drier conditions build in this afternoon with even a little sun possible

Showers and an isolated risk for thunder will move through the region the rest of this morning into mid-afternoon.  Do not cancel all your late day plans because of this rain!  In fact, breaks of sun will be possible later today.

The push of rain coming through the metro will need about 3 hours to clear out entirely.  Areas further to the north in northern Missouri will see some showers through late afternoon before drying out.

Late Morning Rain

ForecastTrack2

Early Afternoon rain chances pushing north

ForecastTrack3

Lingering sprinkle or shower in northern Missouri. Dry weather across remainder of the area this evening

Easter Sunday starts with cloudy skies and a chance for rain or even some wet snow!  I wouldn’t rule out a quick coating of snow on decks, sidewalks and lawns if a heavier band of wet snow develops.  Otherwise plan on seeing increasing amounts of sunshine by the afternoon.

ForecastTrack5

Sunday Rain-Snow Mix through sunrise!!

Radar

Rain or wet snow early then partly sunny by mid to late afternoon
