Teachman’s Take: Turning To Spring…Again!

Clear skies this morning and light winds are a perfect recipe for frost to form.  And it looks like it could be thick enough to cause damage to sensitive plants and flowers through 9 AM today.  Otherwise, sunshine and winds from the south will allow temps to warm quickly.  Highs this afternoon will be in the middle 60s.  There is an increased fire danger for Tuesday with highs approaching 70 and gusty winds.

Storms are likely by Wednesday and some could be on the stronger side, especially during the afternoon and evening.  The strong cold front associated with this storm system will usher in colder temperatures.  Highs will drop into the 50s.  There’s another chance for more frost going into Friday and Saturday mornings.  Possibly, even Sunday morning.  By the weekend, afternoon temperatures are heading back up into the 60s.
