Suchan Says: Windy, Warmer Weekend

Very warm March with about .6″ total snow for the month after a SNOWLESS February!

Skies have cleared across the region and temperatures will fall to near freezing by sunrise.  Given the combination of having temperatures near or just barely below freezing and for a relatively short duration, there is no freeze warning in effect.  However, those plants that are very sensitive to cold nights around freezing should be covered or brought inside (potted plants for example).  Also, widespread frost is not expected at the moment as a steady breeze should develop late and strengthen through sunrise.

Saturday afternoon is sunny and warms nicely into the lower 60s (cooler up north and mid 60s to the south).  Sunday starts in the lower to mid 40s then quickly warms into the upper 70s!  In fact, some areas may hit 80 in our western sections!

Cold front arrives after midnight Sunday night. Slight rain chance in central Missouri otherwise dry in our viewing area

Mostly sunny Monday with cooler 60s
