Much of the area will start the day in a Freeze Warning through daybreak Tuesday. Temperatures should be well above freezing shortly after 8:00am as the early day sun gets the warming process underway.
The rest of the day looks great! Loads of sunshine as high pressure drifts toward Chicago keeping us in dry air with a light breeze from the east. Highs will run a few degrees warmer than Monday.
Wednesday may start with a chill in the air but another freeze is not expected. Wednesday afternoon continues the warming trend reaching close to 70 degrees. Thursday and Friday continue the trend of pleasant temperatures going above 70 degrees.
By the end of the week, scattered clouds will start mixing with our sunshine Friday into Saturday as a slow increase in low level moisture is underway. Sunday will bring the next chance of showers or a few thunderstorms to the area. At this early stage of the forecast, widespread severe weather is not expected.
