Suchan Says: Round Two Rainfall

Radar

Rain with some embedded thunder through tonight into early commute

An area of low pressure will scoot across the area tonight into Wednesday morning with patchy rain and some thunder possible.  There is no severe risk with any thunder.  Just downpours with any passing weak storm.

Rainfall amounts should range from a solid .25″ to .75″ but locally heavier amounts near 1″ will be possible especially if we realize some thunder with this rain.

Wednesday is certainly not a washout.  In fact, all signs point to fairly quick drying through the morning into the afternoon as much drier air surges in behind the area of low pressure lifting north into Iowa.  Sure, a lingering shower or weak t-storm into early afternoon remains possible but the overall trend will be drying with even some breaks of sun later in the day.

The Royals’ game looks great in the evening if heading to the ballpark.  First pitch is again at 6:15pm.
