Suchan Says: Big Warm Up Ahead

Wednesday brings another glorious day of weather to the area with lots of sunshine and a gusty north breeze behind a cold front that moves through extremely early in the day.

Temperatures really begin to crank up a few notches by Friday into Saturday as a surge of very warm air spreads east across the plains.  Temperatures by Saturday could hit the upper 80s in a few spots in eastern Kansas!

Wednesday Afternoon: large trough to our east pushing down reinforcing shot of “cooler” air keeping highs in the 60s to near 70

Friday Evening: Pumping in very warm air late week and into the weekend! (mid to upper 80s Saturday)

The next chance of rain in the forecast will arrive Sunday with a 30% chance of a few showers or thunderstorms.  Certainly not a washout of a day for outdoor plans with mom.  Best chance for rain will be in the back part of the day as well.
