A powerful cold front has moved through the area sending temperatures tumbling tonight! In fact, we may tie a record cold low temperature overnight.
Saturday is a partly sunny day with a breezy north wind keeping temperatures very cool and crisp! Highs only in the upper 50s (normal high is in the mid 70s). Saturday night drops to a low near 39.
Sunday is a little warmer with temperatures at least back into the lower to mid 60s. Skies are partly sunny early in the day then turn mostly cloudy by early evening.
The next system to impact the area pushes in Monday with overcast skies and patchy rain. Once the rain arrives, temperatures will rain-cool and hold in the mid 50s all day. There is no severe weather risk in the days ahead with such a cool pattern. So if any good comes from unseasonably chilly temperatures, it’s the fact the heart of severe weather season will take a break until the next warm up moves in.
