Overall, this looks like a nice weekend forecast complete with warmer temperatures and only a slight rain chance both days. The true change to a more active weather pattern begins Monday as we get back into severe weather season mode tracking daily storm chances.
Saturday starts cool and crisp near 50 degrees through sunrise. Temperatures should quickly climb to a high near 74 with skies becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon after a mostly sunny start. I do expect to see scattered showers across central Kansas with a slight 20% chance one or two of these showers could clip our western counties in the viewing area later in the day.
Sunday starts with an isolated 20% chance of a shower or thunderstorm as warmer air is trying to punch into the region along with higher humidity levels. Once we reach mid to late morning, skies are partly sunny and the rest of the day should be dry. Temperatures will be noticeably warmer reaching the upper 70s to even near 80 in a couple spots.
