Teachman’s Take: Slim Shot For Showers

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy today.  Temperatures will start mild in the lower 60s.  More clouds will arrive this afternoon and a few showers are possible for locations southeast of the metro, including Butler, Clinton and Sedalia.  The metro may see a few sprinkles later in the afternoon.  Highs will be in the middle 80s.

Overnight, showers and thunderstorms are possible.  This should wrap up shortly before dawn.  And later in the afternoon, a brief shower cannot be ruled out.  Highs will remain warm in the lower 80s.  Temps dip slightly to the upper 70s for Sunday with sunshiny skies.  A late day shower or storm is possible on Monday.  Highs next week will become toasty in the middle to upper 80s.

Take care,
