Suchan Says: Hot Weather Rolls On

Thursday took us to 91 degrees as we officially entered the early season heatwave that will last till Monday of next week.  Next couple of days will get a little hotter but still not hot enough for heat advisories or warnings.  You can expect that kind of heat later in July, August and some of September given the long range pattern I see.

In the meantime, Friday is a hot 92 degrees with a “slight” 10% chance of rain late day in northwestern parts of the viewing area.  Otherwise sunshine dominates with a breezy south wind.

Saturday also has the slight 10% rain chance early in the day.  Sunshine and heat will dominate the rest of the day with a high near 94.  Keep in mind it will feel like it’s in the upper 90s at times with the humidity factored in.

Heat rolls into Sunday with mainly dry weather as well.  Very late in the day there’s a slight rain chance.  A more meaningful chance of showers or thunderstorms will arrive in the forecast Monday through Wednesday of next week along with gradually cooling temperatures.
