Suchan Says: Extreme Heat Wednesday

The hottest day of the week will be Wednesday as a core of very hot air breaks loose and heads east across our area.  With loads of sunshine and a gusty southwest wind, temperatures will easily reach well into the 90s to even low 100s in spots (mainly western areas).

Heat Warning and Heat Advisory Wednesday

Thursday will be a little cooler as the core of the hottest air moves away from the area and the surface low switches around to the north.  It will still be a hot day.  Just not as intense as Wednesday.  Highs in the lower to a few mid 90s.  There will also be a slight 20% of rain in mainly the southern half of the area.

Friday has a 30% chance for a few showers or thunderstorms with times of sunshine.  If we play our cards right, there’s an opportunity to keep the temperature just below 90 but if we do not realize much rain and sunshine ends up dominating the day, we’ll easily climb above 90…. again.

Wednesday: Hot, windy with a fair amount of sunshine

Thursday: Mostly sunny then partly cloudy late. 20% rain

Friday: Partly cloudy with a 30% chance of showers or thunderstorms
