Suchan Says: T-Storms and Heat

Radar2

Scattered storms continue across the area with additional thunderstorms possible in nearly the same area later tonight into Tuesday morning

A weak cold front is drifting into the area and stalling out.  It will then retreat back to the northeast during the day Tuesday.  The end result, a likely continuation of showers or storms developing along it through daybreak across the viewing area.  Gradually through the morning to midday, chances for showers or storms will diminish to just an isolated chance.

By late day, a couple thunderstorms will remain possible in north central and northeastern Missouri while the rest of the area heats up into the lower to mid 90s.

ForecastTrack4

Tuesday Morning: 30% Scattered Storms

ForecastTrack3

Tuesday Afternoon: Hot and sunny with isolated rain chances in northern / northeastern Missouri

Wednesday will be the hottest day of the week as we briefly enter a very strong warm sector with scorching hot temperatures.  Highs are likely to reach 95 – 100 across the area.
