Suchan Says: Flash Flood Watch Begins Tonight

Other than a few sprinkles or a light rain shower up till midnight, the bulk of the heavier and steadier rain will push in well after midnight.  Flash Flood Watch goes into effect overnight and will last through Sunday.

The forecast really has not changed one bit.  Periods of rain Saturday and at times heavy especially in the morning and again later in the day.  The middle of the day could have a few patches of just drizzle or mist.

Saturday night and into Sunday morning, more rain and at times heavy.  Flash flooding is likely in this scenario with hazardous travel, some basement flooding and the need for caution on area lakes with debris in the water along with high water levels.

Temperatures Saturday will range from the mid 60s in the northern half of the area to the 70s and even lower 80s to the south!!  Sunday’s highs will hold in the 60s and lower 70s around the area.

4th of July Monday starts cloudy then gradually turns partly sunny into the evening.  Most importantly, it will be a dry forecast for all the big firework shows with pleasant temperatures!
