Williams’s Wrap: Steamy and Stormy

Tuesday has been a scorcher of a day with highs in the mid to upper 90s and feels like temperatures nearing 115° for some.  As temperatures cool off into the 80s this evening it would be wise to continue hydrating as we have more heat on the way.

While we’re asleep Tuesday night we could be woken up to some thunder.  A cold front over Nebraska and Iowa will skim the northern most portions of Missouri and could bring a few storms to area.  Keep in mind that some could be strong to severe and bring hail and strong winds.

Any storms that develop during the overnight could continue into early Wednesday, mainly until we reach the afternoon hours.  So before heading off to work early in the morning, have the umbrella ready to go and give yourself a few extra minutes.  As skies start to break during the afternoon we’ll see temperatures quickly jump into the 90s with feels like temperatures around 100.
