Teachman’s Take: Hot First Then Storms

Sunshine will dominate for much of your Monday.  So will hot, hazy and humid conditions!  Temperatures this afternoon will warm into the middle 90s.  With the humidity factored in, it will feel like 100+.

Storms are likely after 11 PM and through much of the overnight.  Some storms could be strong with damaging winds and hail.  Heavy rain is also likely.  Temperatures will remain toasty in the lower 90s through Wednesday.  As a cold front hangs in the area, more chances for storms will greet us each day through Saturday.  Heavy rain is a possibility with any of these storms.  Temperatures will start to cool by Thursday in the 80s and remain there through the weekend.  Next week, we’ll return to the 90s as skies dry out.
