Teachman’s Take: An Afternoon Break Before More Storms

The rain is tapering from the west to the east right now.  We’ll get a break in the storms this afternoon and it will feel steamy.  Highs should rebound into the upper 80s and lower 90s.  After 7 this evening, isolated storms will pop up south of I-70 and arrive in the metro closer to 11 PM.  Can’t rule out gusty winds, hail and heavy rain with any of these storms.

Several more chances for storms through the weekend.  Not rain all the time as there will be dry pockets especially during the day.  Highs will start to drop by Friday and then return to the 90s early next week.
