Friday will start with some pleasant weather across the area although a few areas of fog are possible once again. Meanwhile, showers or storms are likely to be ongoing in Nebraska and moving south to southeast. While the bulk of this rain should cut across central Kansas, I cannot rule out a few of these showers or thunderstorms scraping into the western half of our viewing area.
Temperatures for yet another day will hold in the mid 80s.
Saturday looks decent but we still have a 30% chance of pop up showers or thunderstorms of a garden variety. I do not expect big severe storms in this setup although a storm briefly pulsing up and being strong enough to produce a little hail, gusty winds and frequent lightning is always possible in the middle of July.
Sunday will have a chance for a couple morning showers or storms then turns mostly to partly sunny, breezy and much hotter as temperatures climb into the lower to even a few mid 90s.
