Williams’s Wrap: Hot Today, Hotter Tomorrow

Skies have cleared since the morning which has lead to plenty of sunshine and have helped us heat up into the low 90s.  During the evening, skies will continue to be mostly clear with just a few clouds but it’s still going to feel muggy for those who will be spending some time outside.  Lows will only drop into the mid 70s.

A push of warmer air from the southwest Thursday will bring highs closer to the mid and upper 90s with heat index temperatures between 100 and 110.  A Heat Advisory will be in effect for a portion of the viewing area from 1pm to 8pm.  Remember to limit your outside activity and drink plenty of water.

A cold front Thursday night will bring us the chance for some showers and thunderstorms, especially into Friday.  Rain in the region and cooler air from the front will bring highs down to the mid 80s Friday and through the weekend.
