Teachman’s Take: Today’s Cooler Rains

The cold front is on the way!  And as expected, showers and thunderstorms are likely today plus cooler temperatures.  Today’s severe storm risk is low, but any storm will be capable of producing heavy rainfall and lots of lightning.  There could also be a stray storm that produces brief gusty winds.  Our rain chances will decrease as the day carries on.  Highs will be feeling much better in the middle 80s.

More storms are possible through the weekend.  Highs will drop to near 80 both Saturday and Sunday.  Rain remains around the area each day next week.  Highs to start the work week will remain warm in the middle 80s.  By mid-week, temps turn hotter in the lower 90s.

Take care,
