Suchan Says: Showers, Storms, Cooler

You’ve made it!!  A streak of extremely hot days come to an end tonight with a return to a more manageable set of 80s ahead of us through the weekend.

Tonight, increasing clouds with scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely straight into the morning drive.  The severe risk is very low although an isolated strong storm is certainly possible especially in northern Missouri.  But in general, I’m not expecting many warnings to be issued tonight for large hail or damaging wind gusts.

Friday is not a washout of a day but does have a solid chance of showers or thunderstorms especially in the morning with some popping up in the afternoon.  The late day time frame looks actually pretty nice especially into the evening!  In fact, we should see a few pokes or breaks of sun through the clouds later in the day.

Temperatures are in the mid to upper 80s Friday and stay there straight through the upcoming weekend!
