Thursday offers up more of the same from what we’ve seen this week but is without a doubt, the last very hot day in this stretch. A Heat Advisory will be in effect from midday to 8:00pm in the evening.
There’s a slight chance of a random shower or sprinkle to start the day. Otherwise plan on a fairly strong warm sector ahead of the cold front sliding in limiting rain chances and bringing blast furnace heat into the area. Highs should be a hair hotter than Wednesday unless we somehow see extra cloudiness filter through. Temperatures from 95 – 98 should be common and it will feel like it’s 105 to 112 at times.
I wouldn’t rule out a shower or storm before midnight late in the evening especially in northwestern sections of the area. However, the highest rain chance ahead moves in Thursday night through about half of Friday. This is the strong cold front coming in with a shot of some real nice weekend weather behind it!!
