Whether you want to get some yard work done or just spend some time outside, Saturday will be the day to do it. Cooler air has settled over the region and in addition to skies that have cleared, Saturday temperatures start off cool in the mid 60s. Plenty of sunshine through the day will help temperatures gradually warm into the mid 80s by the afternoon. If you plan on being outside, I’d suggest having a hat and sunscreen. Even though it won’t be uncomfortably hot, the UV index will be at a very high 9 for Kansas City and sun burns can develop after a short 20 to 25 minutes.
Saturday night stays quiet with mostly clear skies and lows sliding back down into the 60s. Then, we’ll do it all again Sunday with sunshine and highs in the mid 80s.
