Williams’s Wrap: The Week Ahead

Saturday’s conditions carry over into Sunday as we have a mostly sunny and dry end to the weekend. Highs will be warm and pretty close to normal while topping out in the mid/upper 80s.  Sunday evening will be mild and the setting sun should paint some nice colors on the sky.

A stalled front over southeast Missouri will advance toward central Missouri Sunday night.  This will turn skies over Kansas City partly cloudy.  But our extreme southern and eastern counties (Henry, Benton, etc.) will have a slight chance for a shower during the overnight and early Monday morning.

Skies Monday will be mostly to partly sunny across the viewing area.  With a rain-cooled boundary nearby, highs will be a couple degrees cooler and only make it into the mid 80s.  Moisture will start to retreat to the east Monday night as higher pressure builds into the region.  This will cause a gradual rise in temperatures and make it feel a little bit more like August on Wednesday and Thursday.  Rain chances move in Friday and will help temperatures cool back down.
