Teachman’s Take: Hot…AGAIN!

It’s going to be another toasty day!  Mostly sunny skies will dominate with high temperatures climbing into the lower 90s once again.  With the humidity factored in, it will feel as hot as 97 this afternoon.

Friday morning looks quiet.  By early evening, we’ll be watching an area of thunderstorms from the northwest.  These storms should arrive into the KC Metro by 8 PM.  The majority of the Storm Track 5 area is under a Slight Risk for severe storms for Friday evening.

Gusty winds, hail and heavy rain are all possible with these storms.  These storms will weaken overnight and wrap up early Saturday morning.  Highs over the weekend will be much cooler in the 70s.  And overnight lows will be in the 50s.

Take care,
