Clouds will be on the increase today. It will be another hot one with temperatures in the upper 80s. A strong storm system is on the way. The morning will be quiet, but muggy. By afternoon, a pop-up shower or storm cannot be ruled out. However, the stronger storms are expected after 7 PM and before midnight. Storms that arrive during this timeframe, will be capable of producing damaging winds. Heavy rain is also likely. Hail cannot be ruled out, but won’t be a major concern.
Temperatures will drop going into the weekend. As skies eventually clear out Saturday after a few leftover morning showers, highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Overnight lows will be comfy in the 50s. Highs will start to warm back into the middle 80s early next week. Skies will be unsettled Tuesday through Thursday with a few chances for showers and thunderstorms.
