Suchan Says: Flash Flood Emergency

Inside the 435 loop surrounding the city, a Flash Flood Emergency is in effect which is the first ever issued by the NWS office out of Pleasant Hill.  Water rescues, abandoned vehicles, roads closed has been a common occurrence.

A Flash Flood Emergency is issued in life-threatening flooding situations.

More downpours continue to develop and are moving northeast back into the city.  This should continue for 2 to 3 more hours at least per the latest trends.
